Crafted from genuine leather, your journal is designed to age beautifully alongside you. Over time, the leather will develop a natural patina, with subtle scuffs and fold marks that reflect its journey and use. How this character forms will depend on how you care for your journal.

Milk Vase journals are finished with a nourishing leather conditioner to preserve, soften, and protect the leather from water and everyday wear.

The edges of each journal are treated with a traditional Japanese burnishing gum, creating a durable, stain resistant finish that enhances the leather’s natural tones and prevents fraying.

To maintain your journal, avoid contact with oils, alcohol-based products, and water. If it does become wet, gently pat dry and allow it to air-dry naturally.
